Eligibility Criteria for the CBN AGSMEIS N10 million Loan
The CBN AGSMEIS N10 million Loan is open to all Nigerian youths between the ages of 18 and 35 years, with a focus on those who are engaged in businesses related to agriculture and related sectors such as processing, storage, and marketing. To qualify for the loan, applicants must first have a viable business plan, a registered business name, and an account in any Nigerian bank.
Loan Amount and Requirements
The AGSMEIS loan offers up to ₦10 million to eligible Nigerian youths at an interest rate of 5% per annum. The credit facility is repayable over a maximum of 7 years, with a 6-month moratorium on principal repayment.
To apply for the loan, applicants are required to complete an online registration process that includes attending a mandatory training program, which covers areas such as managing a small business, financial and business management, and market access.

The PFIs will then appraise your business plan and determine your eligibility for the loan.
If your application is successful, you will receive the loan at a maximum interest rate of 9% per annum, which is considerably lower than the market rate. You will also have a maximum of 7 years to repay the loan, depending on the nature of your business.
