The Nigerian Navy Recruitment for this year is set to commence any time soon. This was made known on Wednesday so as to boost the security and maritime operation across the country.
According to Commodore Adedotun Ayo-Vaughan, Director of Information, Nigeria Navy, he said that the recruitment was a plan by the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Adm. Awwal Gambo to ensure that security is boosted all over the country.
Those that will take part in this recruitment will be carefully selected men and women that will take up the duties of securing the country. Only candidates with the required academic, medical, physical and mental qualifications will be selected.
The Nigerian Navy Recruitment online application is set to commence 7th August to 7th September, 2022 which is 30 days. Interested applicants are to be aware that the online application of the Nigerian Navy recruitment is free of charge. No applicant is expected to pay before their name will be enlisted into the force.
Qualifications for the Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2022
- Must have a minimum of five (5) credits in WASSCE/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings. This certification must not be older than six (6) years from the date of application.
- Higher educational qualifications such as B.Sc., HND, OND, Registered Nurse/Registered midwife, Drivers/Mechanics and Sportsmen/Sportswomen can apply for this recruitment.
- Applicants with school certificates must be between the age of 18 and 22 by January, 2023 and those with higher certificates must be between the age of 18 and 26.
- Ability to communicate with the English language will be an added advantage.
